It is a powerful antidote to stress, pain & conflict. It releases endorphins & reduces stress hormones.
Spending time with people that you can have fun with, relax around and who make you laugh is undeniably good for you. You know that feeling you get after a proper belly laugh. The type of laughter that's contagious, where you can't breathe. Its probably one of the best feelings in the world.
For a little while, when we were prepping for our recent competitions we sort of forgot or maybe just didnt have the energy to be silly and laugh.
Since finishing competing we have laughed ALOT. I think it's probably the best thing about post prep. After all they do say, 'laughter is the best medicine'.
